This Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 16.20 package is the full collection of Teradata client tools for Windows.

This includes SQL Assistant, load & unload utilities, database management, administration and drivers, and much more to be used to connect to your Teradata Express database instance (downloaded separately).  Installation is easy and simple using a Windows installer.  The size of the download zip file is ~400 MB.  To install, extract the zip file into a temporary folder and run the setup.exe program.

TTU Linux Package

This Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 16.20 package is the full collection of Teradata Client tools for Linux.

This includes load & unload utilities, connectivity drivers and much more. These software are to be used to connect to your Teradata Database instance. Installation is simple using a Linux rpm installer. The size of the download file is ~100MB. To install, extract the zip tar file into a temporary folder and run the Linux rpm.

Note: Ubuntu OS has a separate software package compared to other Linux OS. Please make sure you download this package if you plan to run TTU on Ubuntu OS.

TdBench is a query driver optimized for data warehouse benchmarks and works with any database that has a JDBC driver. It runs on Windows or Linux. It has been tested and used in benchmarks with Teradata, Postgresql, MySQL, Redshift, Netezza, IBM SailFish, Greenplum, Azure ASDW, SQL Server, and Snowflake. TdBench accumulates test results in an internal H2 database for analysis and can link to host database query logging for complete analysis of test results.
