I am trying to package the ODBC driver for installation at our company and am encountering some issues with setup.exe. The GUI claims it is installshield but all the usual command line arguements are not working. I jsut get an error "The setup command line is invalid. The setup cannot proceed".
I have tried ...

Linux Environment Details:
Linux version 2.6.32-431.3.1.el6.x86_64 (mockbuild@x86-003.build.bos.redhat.com) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-4) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Fri Dec 13 06:58:20 EST 2013

Being not an expert at upgrades, I have an old client GSS/ODBC install version 3.06 & would like to upgrade to the latest V14 drivers. The old drivers are located in an NCR folder, & from initial checks the V14 installs under Teradata folder.
How do I sucessfully update?

Which Windows System environment variable determines which driver .dll is used for a Teradata .NET connection if I don't want to use ODBC?

I have a Talend job that is using JDBC to connect to Teradata. I think the driver being used is and I know the Teradata system I am connecting to is

I think only the top most generic error message is being passed from the Teradata driver to Talend for all errors that are being returned:

[Teradata JDBC Driver] [TeraJDBC] [Error 1338] [SQLState HY000] A failure occurred while executing a PreparedStatement batch request. Details of the failure can be found in the exception chain that is accessible with getNextException.

Greetings everyone. New to TeraData and am in need of a 64-bit, Windows compatible driver (ODBC and/or OLE DB) for Windows 2003 / 2008 OS using Xeon processors. I've seen references made to such a driver but am unable to locate on this site, TeraData's site or others.

Can anyone shed some light as to its availability?

Best Regards,

Download the Teradata JDBC Driver This release of the JDBC driver is backwards compatible with previous releases back to Teradata Database V2R6.0.
