The Teradata Connector for Hadoop (TDCH) Command Line Edition provides bi-directional data movement between Teradata and Hadoop in a command line environment.

I am loading a file from HDFS into Teradata using Teradata Hadoop connector. All my records are getting rejected due to error code 6760 (invalid timestamp). All the timestamp fields are of format yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.S with sample values being 2015-05-06 10:55:16.0, 2015-08-14 04:45:33.0.

My main objective is to transfer data from teradata to hadoop. TPT is the fastest way of doing this (eventhough i have confusion between TDCH and TPT which one to go for).  TPT 15.0 onwards supports direct export to hdfs as i read in one of the documentation and also on one of the forums.

I was trying use TDCH connector to load the data from Hive table to Teradata table. But, I want to load the data into the targt table (in teradata) via VIEW instead of accessing the table directly.
So, is there a way to load the data to target table through the VIEW?

We all knew TDCH use JDBC connectivity to establish connectivity between Hadoop and Teradata and to move data across these platforms.
