Hi,
What is the best thread for SAS programmers using Teradata SQL?  Especially since TD SQL and Proc SQL use different SQL languages and we have to remember which hat to put on mid paragraph!  So I think we should just have a hat with two rims we can turn from side to side.  All we need now is gang signs.

I can run stored procedures from within SAS, but I cannot seem to be able to create them? Is this a limitation of the SAS Access for Teradata software?
Thanks

Analysts have deep knowledge of the procedures and reports their desktop tools currently use and produce, but can stumble when they need to get better insights fast on “too big” data.

I'm looking at the Teradata Appliance for SAS High Performance Analytics, which I see is connected directly to the BYNET. Is it possible to connect other non-Teradata servers to the BYNET for connectivity, or is this specific to Teradata appliances?

I am trying to load a small SAS table into Teradata via SAS/ACCESS connectivity  & OLE DB.
The table is mostly NULL and consists of: id, SiteA, SiteB, SiteC, SiteD.  The Site variables are populated with "Yes", "No", or SAS NULL ''.  Only one column is populated at any time.  Therefore the data looks as follows:

Greetings!

I'm trying to run a macro during a connection or with teradata using SAS and when I run the code I'm getting the error. What can be the reason? Error in teradata?

excerpt from Starbucks ADS user:
I installed a newer version of ADS, and then tried to revert back to the version all other Starbucks users have installed: 5.3.1.  Those efforts have failed.

I am trying to configure the Teradata sql assistant to view the SAS datasets. Whether it is possible to view SAS datasets in Teradata sql assistant. Please let me know.

I've been working on this for hours!  Literally hours and I can't seem to get my statement to work.  I'm converting a decode statement. and I can get

one of them to work.  But I can't get them all to work the way they currently work in the Decode.

I've contacted many people within my company who use SAS, but I can't figure out how to resolve my issue and am running out of places to turn.
