0 - 12 of 12 tags for decimal

I have a database table which has four columns and two of the columns are INT. The two INT columns' rows are sometimes empty.
When I try to cast them as DECIMAL(18,3) and then use the Median function I am getting the Error: An unknown character string translation was requested.

I am writing a PT script which loads from an oracle source to Teradata.
PROBLEM_COL in Oracle is defined as DECIMAL(10,0). In Teradata PROBLEM_COL is defined as Integer.
The load fails, and all rows are inserted into the error table.
Reviewing the logs I believe I see the problem:

Why does my percentage have no values after the decimal?

Hello experts,

I have a problem using import and export with bteq. I have the following simple table in DB1 and DB2:

I have the following 2 select statements, which produce 2 different results although they should return the same result
1) sel 1045259.3800 / 3155500.0000 * 3155500.0000
returns 1.045.417,15000000
2) sel 3155500.0000 * 1045259.3800 / 3155500.0000
returns 1.045.259,38000000

I am multiplying too decimals. I am running below query in two different servers. In one system DBS Parameter - MaxDecimal is set as 15 whereas another has DBS Parameter - MaxDecimal as 38. Below JOIN query is failing in second server (MaxDecimal -38) whereas it running fine in first server (MaxDecimal - 15).

Hi All,
I am trying to cast a column into decimal but its failing with the error

I have strange problem. Consider below Teradata Stored Procedure:

Teradata currently supports up to 38 digits in DECIMAL columns. There are several ways to control how many digits you're working with, and they interact in various ways.
