Definition of 'Active Time' seconds in Session Alert

I setup an alert to abort queries running over 30 minutes. The settings are 'Alert Rules' = All, 'Active Time is greater than 1800 seconds', 'Alert Action' = 'Abort Session'. Viewpoint abort the session after less than 1 minute. Does the 1800 seconds represent elapsed time or CPU time?

1800 seconds represents elapsed time during which all periodic samples reported the session was "Active".
Note that this is not quite the same as saying that the session is actually "Active" continuously for 1800 seconds.

The Active Time calculation is reset every time a new request (query) is submitted.  Therefore, this is the same as saying a session was continuously active for 1800 seconds of elapsed time.
I can't think of a reason why the session would be aborted by Viewpoint after being active for less than 1 minute.  If this continues to be a problem then please follow the standard product support processes and submit an incident.
