By march 31st teradata V2R5 exams r going to change. So, Can I take NRO-011 n 012 b4 march and pursue for next update exams i.e teradata 12 exams. Is it suggestible.
payalatul, unfortunately V2R5 exams don't carry over to 12.0 exams, which means that you are either a V2R5 master or you have to start-over again. So I'd suggest take 12.0 exams instead.

the exam topics covered in V2R5 - NR0-11 and Teradata 12 - TE0-121 are almost same.

The manuals for SQL available at the teradata site are a wonderful source of information not only for the certification but also to gain good knowledge and grip on the usage. I remember one of my Teradata friends calling it as a bed time technical story book with a practical purpose. I second that statement.

I am planning for teradata certification(basic)i.e NR011. But from previous posted comments I have come to know that pattern has changed and instead of NR011.I should go for TE-0121.Please elaborate the difference between the two(i.e nr011 and te0-121).Is nr011 certification not applicable now.As I had already started preparing for it.
Tanvi, the biggest difference is the exams are from two different tracks (or releases). Exam NR0-011 is the Basics exam for the V2R5 Teradata Certification track (which is now retired). Exam TE0-121 is the Basics exam for the Teradata 12 track.
