SQL Assistant Expecting Characters in Data
CREATE SANDBOX.SC2_VDGB  (

INSERT INTO SANDBOX.SC2_VDGB
VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?);

Good morning all... new to Teradata.

I am attempting to import data using Teradata SQL Assistant (TSA) and am receiving the following error:
Error executing query for record 1: [3707] Syntax error, expected something like ',' or ')' between the word 'Dave' and the word 'Borden'.

'Dave Borden' is the value of the third field or the first record. I am not understanding why TSA is expecting syntax in imported data. I need some help understanding why this might be. Any ideas?

Thanks, Dave

Please disregard... I was not aware that I couldn't run an insert in the same tab as another query. I ran the insert in a different tab and viola... success.

Thanks,

Dave
