Diacritic character issue multiload BODS

Hi
we are trying to load a teradata table from oracle as source using BODS.
A table in oracle has diacritic data. we have created staging table in teradata as unicode for columns containing diacritic data.
loading table by multiload is causing data to be rejected to ET table, giving error like 'untranslatable character issue' (6706).
multiload character set :- UTF-8
oracle NLS setting :- UTF-8
teradata driver :- UTF-8, teradata datastore in bods :- UTF-8.
some of the data that is getting rejected has ? in string like 'd?cruz'.
please reply if anyone has gone thru this kind of issue.

Hi,
Did you use vartext, text from the drop down? Try those and let us see.
Cheers,

Pranil,
Is it not available at Target Table Editor? So may options are there. So many options are there. Also which version are you working with? I work on 3. something . So , please check in ODBC admin  settings and Data store settings of Teradata.
Cheers,
Raja

Also Pranil, did you use Oracle Source Table -----Query Transform--- Teradata Target table? To be honest, I may have missed that vartext option, since I worked in 2010. Did you try with trim and other  functions in  Query transform too.
I checked the BODS material I had before, it tells something about UTF-8 settings. Please have a look at that too. It may help.
Cheers,
Raja
