Avoid header and trailer using Multiload

Hi ,I have a file with header, data racords and trailer. Data record is delimited with comma and header and trailer are fixed width.The header and trailer starts with (HDR,TRA). I need to avoid the header and trailer while loading the file with Multiload. Please help me in this case.Thank you,Regards,Kiran

Hi Kiran,While defining the layout of records put a field REC_ID_IN( Record Id indicator). this will store the record indicator for each row. you can filter the Header and trailer records in the application phs APPLY label WHERE REC_TD_IN NOT IN('HDR','TRA');hope it helps...

All records in one input file must be able to use the same LAYOUT.You could write INMOD or AXSMOD user exit to omit the header & trailer.
