Teradata Studio stuck

Everytime I open Teradata Studio Express 14.0, I got 98% CPU usage (the name of process in System Monitor is Java) and then stuck.
If I try close I got the message "The window Teradata Studio Express is not responding."
I'm running in VMware Fusion with 4 GB RAM.
What could be happing to cause that?

Thanks in advance,

Filipe

Can you try deleting the Teradata Studio Express workspace and try to launch again? It gets created in your <User> directory and called workspace.

Thanks for your reply, but it doens't work at all. When I run a statement (like a simple create table) Teradata Studio Express stuck and I need to reboot the machine. I can't even try to close that.

Filipe, You can try to allocate more memory for Teradata Studio Express by modifying the TeradataStudioExpress.ini file located in the install directory. Currently it shows:

-Xms256m

-Xmx256m

-XX:MaxPermSize=256m

Bump the 256 to 512 and restart Teradata Studio Express.
