Teradata Studio Express Install is not recognizing finding my Java JRE

my command line "java -version" returns a found java jre:
"java version "1.8.0_66"
java (tm) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_66-b18)
java hotspot(TM) client VM (build 25.66-b18, mixed mode)

And when I click through my windows explorer, I can find java.exe in here:
c:\program files (x86)\java\jdk1.8.0_66\bin

but when I go through the teradata studio setup.exe I can't navigate to the JRE, it won't show up when I click browse during the install prompts to select a java runtime environment JRE.
what gives?

KG, I just tested the install on my Windows 7 system and I was able to click the Browse button and navigate through my OS file system.  The version you are showing is 32 bit version. Are you maybe browsing in Program Files (without the x86) so 64-bit location? Is the Browse button able to look through your OS file system at all?

thanks fgrimmer, my corporate helpdesk was able to help me install after several attempts and cleaning out registry.  It was hard to see but it appears they installed a 32 bit version on my 64 bit pc.
I have another question I'm about to post on Teradata Studio regarding double quotes always accompanying table names that i drag and drop into the SQL editor window.
