Teradata Eclipse Plugin : Error With LDAP Connectivity

Hi All,
I am trying to setup teradata eclipse plugin on Eclipse Juno.
Connection is successful when i am setting up without using LDAP connectivity option.
However, ping fails for the same server if using a user bound with ldap.
The Error i get is "The user, password or account is invalid"
I didn't see any specific instructions to setup connection via LDAP.
Request you to please suggest.

There is an option in the Teradata Connectio Profile Wizard to set LDAP authentication. Click on the drop down list for Authentication Mechanism. The default is PASSWORD_PROTECTED, but you can change it to LDAP.

Hi,
Thanks for your inputs.
I had already tried that before posting.
However, it gave below mentioned error:

com.teradata.jdbc.jdbc_4.util.JDBCException: [Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 14.00.00.21] [Error 8017] [SQLState 28000] The UserId, Password or Account is invalid.
	at com.teradata.jdbc.jdbc_4.util.ErrorFactory.makeDatabaseSQLException(ErrorFactory.java:300)

Is there anyother setting required for LDAP related authentication ??

Aside from setting up the LDAPc credentials, you provide the username and password and LDAP authentication option.  Does your password have the special character '@' in it? If so, this must be preceded by an escape sequence, '\'.

Hi,
The escape character suggestion worked for me.
I was able to login.
Thanks....
