I have installed Teradata Express edition 13 in windows XP. I have a LDAP server as well. I want to log in to teradata using LDAP authentication.
Please suggest me the steps to achieve the requirement. Appreciate any help.

You can login to your Teradata Database from Teradata Studio or Studio Express using LDAP authentication. In the Connection Profile wizard you can select LDAP as your authentication mechanism.

@kvz, First make sure that you can connect to your TD VM, without LDAP. There are steps you may need to do to configure your VM for access via its IP address. Refer to the DevX articles on Teradata Express. You must also set up your LDAP server. I don't have steps for that.
Then, when creating your connection profile in Studio or Studio Express, you choose the LDAP Authentication Mechanism and provide your domain/username name and password.

Thanks fgrimmer for quick response.
I'm able to connect to TD VM without LDAP. I performed following steps to configure TD server for LDAP:
1) run gtwcontrol -d
2) granted null password logons like this:

    GRANT LOGON ON ALL TO [UserID] WITH NULL PASSWORD;
3) Configured TdgssUserConfigFile.xml file which is at '/opt/teradata/tdat/tdgss/site/'  location:

     Set AuthorizationSupported="no"
4) jar uvf tdgssconfig.jar TdgssUserConfigFile.xml
But still its not connecting.
if anything missing please suggest me.

@kvz, What is the exception that you are getting for the failed connection?
