For 15.10 Install how do I respond What Java Runtime Environment?

The Teradata Studio 15.10 install asks for Java Runtime Environment?  It provides a browse where I see a number of folders of which none seem obvious paths.   If I open a cmd and ask for java version I see this...
C:\Users\CG160008>java -version
java version "1.8.0_40"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_40-b26)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.40-b25, mixed mode)
Any suggestions on how I should resolve this?

Try making sure you have the JDE (not JRE) install on your machine

I'm not seeing your problem. When I install the 64-bit version of Teradata Studio, the installer offers the location of the 64-bit Java 8 JRE (C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_45\), the installation finishes and Studio runs from the shortcut installed on the desktop.
Are you perhaps installing the 64-bit version of Studio and have the 32-bit version of Java insalled?

If your JRE is 64-bit it will say so:
java version "1.8.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_25-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.25-b02, mixed mode)
As Chuckbert already suggested, make sure your Teradata Studio install matches your JRE.
For 64-bit JRE install:
Teradata Studio for Windows x86 64-bit
For 32-bit JRE install:
Teradata Studio for Windows i386 32-bit
