Raja, if you're actually interested in Unity Source Link, then you should read the documentation.
http://www.info.teradata.com/edownload.cfm?itemid=131360001
http://developer.teradata.com/database/reference/unity-source-link-scenario

According to the documentation, Unity Source Link only supports links to Oracle databases at the present time.

Or look at taking the Teradata 14.10 class which covers not only Source Link but the related technologies of SQL-H / table operators:

Hi Gary,
I will not be able to take up the training :).
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the information. Wish we can expand more, with other DBs in future releases.

From the documentation its seems only Oracle as foreign database is supported in 14.10 and 15.0 versions of USL.  Is there any plan to use USL to query multiple teradata systems (from within one teradata database)? If this is already possible please share how as it doesnt seem clear from the manual.

In TD15.0 and later, Teradata QueryGrid allows Teradata-to-Teradata access, leveraging table operators.

Thanks Fred, I have looked at Teradata-to-Teradata (B035-1188-015K) manual, which talks about installation "...
Install the Teradata-to-Teradata connector on both Teradata systems ..." in chapter 3 Teradata Configuration section. Would you know where this connector is available for download?

On the Teradata public documentation website http://www.info.teradata.com, click on "Data Warehousing" category and you will see Teradata QueryGrid as one of the subcategories.
