Getting "<error>" in the column next to the BLOB column while selecting data using SQL assistant

Hi All,
We are facing one issue. I have one table which has BLOB column defined in it.
I am trying to select the data using TD SQL assistant, but in result set its not showing correct data in column next to the BLOB column.
I tried swapping the column in my select statement, but always getting the "<error>" text in the column next to BLOB column.

Please help me here.

Thanks,
AG

Hi Khurram,
Please find below some sample output data.
Example 1:

ID     GRP_TAX_ID ATCHMNT_OBJ               ATCHMNT_FILE_NM  LOAD_KEY  SOR_DTM

401   431207361  ATCHMNT_OBJ010.dat  <Error>                     0                 01-Oct-2013 09:14:28.000000

102   113053151  ATCHMNT_OBJ011.dat  CCCTesting.doc         0                10-Oct-2013 13:24:36.000000

403   431207363  ATCHMNT_OBJ012.dat  <Error>                     0                 03-Oct-2013 14:06:40.000000

200   431207360  ATCHMNT_OBJ013.dat  <Error>                     0                 03-Oct-2013 14:06:53.000000

Example 2:

ID      GRP_TAX_ID ATCHMNT_OBJ                 LOAD_KEY ATCHMNT_FILE_NM  SOR_DTM

401   431207361   ATCHMNT_OBJ010.dat    <Error>      test116.pdf              01-Oct-2013 09:14:28.000000

102   113053151   ATCHMNT_OBJ011.dat    0                CCCTesting.doc        10-Oct-2013 13:24:36.000000

403   431207363   ATCHMNT_OBJ012.dat    <Error>      test118.pdf              03-Oct-2013 14:06:40.000000

200   431207360   ATCHMNT_OBJ013.dat    <Error>      imag.gif                     30-Oct-2013 14:06:53.000000

Actually I am not getting any error but the actual value in the column (Next to BLOB column) is getting replaced by "<Error>" text. You can see the same in above examples.

Please help me with this.

Forgot to mention, ATCHMNT_OBJ is the BLOB column here.

Hi,
Sorry for the delays, Can you please check the max length of the data in LOB column. You can use the following query:

select ID, CHAR_length(ATCHMNT_FILE_NM) from tableName;

I doubt you may have to cast the column to max length of CLOB, as some files might being truncated during the process.
