Thanks,Stevesteve.watson@verizonwireless.com614-560- 8416Job Location: Dublin, OHDescription:Duties: * Work with Business, Loyalty, Revenue Generation and Regional teams to develop targeted retention, renewal and revenue enhancement campaigns * Interface with cross-functional teams to combine data sources and build in depth analysis in support of loyalty, embedded base an customer communication campaigns * Performs analysis, profiling and modeling to support the MWA's marketing planning and program deployment. Includes market analysis and subsequent identification of target, target list creation, utilization of internal and external data, management of data processing resources, and results generation and analysis * Provides program support of area field prospecting and customer management programs by improving and growing the intelligence resident in VZW data stores, including external data evaluation and derived elements gleaned from internally sourced Other remarks: * Teradata SQL - must be proficient in developing and executing complex queries in the data warehouse environment * Teradata Client Tools - must be familiar with client tools for loading and extracting data from the data warehouse environment (Fastexport, FastLoad, Multiload, BTEQ) * Microsoft Access - must understand and be able to develop Access databases for purpose of analyzing data and reporting results * Must have experience with and an understanding of data warehouse environment (specifically Teradata-based environment)* Must have the ability to think creatively when challenged by problems where data is not readily accessible, where tools that IT has provided to general population do not allow data to be used easilyQualifications:Qualifications: * Bachelor's of Business, Information Systems, or Marketing or equivalent work experience * 5 years campaign management, data warehouse and quantitative reporting/analysis experience * 3 years in telecommunications or wireless industry * Experience with use, development, testing and management of predictive modeling, data mining and decision support tools a plus * Experience with and management of systems design, file production, marketing and database program maintenance, tracking and analysis for marketing programs that support customer acquisition/retention * Experience working with CRM systems and processes * Strong technical and business background * Experience using data management software tools (e.g., Teradata CRM, Cognos, Impromptu, Microsoft Access, Teradata Queryman & Client Toolset) * Superior planning, quantitative, technical and analytical skills * Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible * Demonstrates superior initiative, communication and project management skills * Organized and process oriented * Leverages technology and forward thinkingSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceIt takes dedicated, hard-working people like you to provide the largest, most advanced, nationwide wireless network.
