x.x.TDC.x.R.x in VMware Suse teradata

Hi at all,
 
sorry for the triviality if question but I want know what means the substring x.x.TDC.x.R.x which appears in GNU GRUB whan I start up teradata suse virtual machine.

Teradata uses a modified SLES kernel, e.g. version 2.6.16.60 and this is Teradata's release number.

ok ok....
So, e.g., in the string which appears in GNU GRUB when starts up the virtual machine as this:
Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 - 2.6.32.54 - 0.23.TDC.1.R.2
-) 11 is the Suse version
-) 2.6.32.54 you say is the Teradata's release number
-) ... and what's 0.23.TDC.1.R.2?

-) 0.23.TDC.1.R.2 is Teradata's release number
