Volatile table issue


A query having a  join with volatile table TMP_TEXT_CONSOLIDATED  TEXT1,

query is not throwing any error if volatile table  doesn’t exist.

any idea which table the query referring?

yes, It is showing Temp.TMP_TEXT_CONSOLIDATED.

Temp is one of the Databasename.

But default database is BASE in the env which we are working.

may be you are creating that voaltile table in the same sql.

Can you post the sql plz and your show query result??

Could be trivial but double check that you are looking at the default databases at the right place i.e. profile details if profile is allocated and user details if it is not.

Note that the name of a volatile table is local to the session in which it is created.  It is not associated with the name space of any database.  Thus the default database setting is immaterial.
