SELECT 'D_TABLE' as TABLENAME

Hi All,
Can you please make me understand this SQL Statement - SELECT 'D_TABLE' as TABLENAME

From the context, it means that an aliased field name TABLENAME will have a value 'D_TABLE'. Why don't you execute the query and see the result in sql assistant or bteq?
