Querybanding in Oracle,SQL server,Db2

Like how we have queryband in teradata, do we have one for oracle,db2,udb and sql server.
Also is there any MD5 function in Oracle,Db2,SQL server

MD5 should be easy, all those DBMSes suppport UDFs.
But afaik none supports a functionality similar to Querybanding.

Oracle has a similar function to queryband, can't remember the name at the moment. It is used particularly in the session pool area. Spelled differently of course but similar goal.

The JDBC API Specification refers to this kind of database feature as "Client Info".
The Teradata JDBC Driver implements the JDBC API Client Info feature using the underlying Teradata Database Query Band feature. (However, a Java application can still use the SET QUERY_BAND command directly.)
Oracle provides a built-in procedure dbms_application_info.set_client_info to set Client Info, and Oracle stores the Client Info in a column in Oracle's v$session table.
That is very similar to how a Teradata Database Query Band is stored in a column in DBC.SessionTbl.
