Newbie -- where to start learning teradata?

Hello,

 I have experience with Oracle (dba and plsql).

 I would like to get some knowlege of Teradata.

 Where do I start?

Hi All,

how did we get to know the space occupied by indexes only ?

Pls can any one share the query.

I am not sure if we can continue this thread. Neverthless.....Empirical way is the best way which is used to estimate the size of table, including indexes.
Load some rows into the table. Get the size by querying the dictionary view DBC.TableSize.
Create the required index for which you want to calculate the size. Again query the view DBC.TableSize.
The difference gives the size of the index.
