Migrate Oracle UDF to Teradata UDF

I've couple of User defined functions in Oracle. I would like to know how I can convert/migrate those functions into Teradata.
I'm very new to TD.. I'm wonderring if it possible to just change the syntax while migrating or need to rewrite the whole function.

What kind of UDF?
SQL or C/Java?

Which TD version you are using and what is the purpose of those UDFs? Are they generic ones, or completely customized logic?
You might need to make some changes, so you need to have a good understanding of the code first.

I think you have written a function in Oracle like
create or replace function abc.def(....)
where you can call in your dml say.
If so, you can write a UDF. There are lots of materials on UDFs.
