Forcing a 64-bit install on a 64-bit OS

Hello,
I'm working on an installation package for Teradata and for some reason, TPT is installing the 32-bit version on a 64-bit OS. Everything else seems to be installing the 64-bit version. I have the install files for 64-bit TPT but it's defaulting to 32-bit only on TPT.
We have 64-bit Java installed as well. Installing 32-bit Java allows TPT to work but causes issues with the OS (as 32-bit Java on a 64-bit OS isn't cool).
Can we force the 64-bit TPT in the parameters somehow? I'm using information from this site to create my package and it works, just won't run TPT.

Thanks,
Sarah
