check session history

Dears,
The background is that our customer's cognos application issues lots of  help column commands to get the column level characters which may be not needed.
So, I want to recreate the problem anc check the commands. So, I need the following.
1) how to list the session for a user or himself in another session.
2) How to list the session's hitory.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Ricky

Thanks, RR

Do you have TD Viewpoint? Also you can try

select * from DBC.SessionTbl

select * from table(MonitorSession(1,'*',0)) as dt

select * from dbc.logonoffv

there are few more helps that you can get too to connect ...like dbql tables  -dbc.querylog

Thanks,

To have a correct track of SQLs executed, you need to have DBQL enabbled. It can be enabled for a particular user or for all users system-wide.

You can also ask your DBA to enable it for your user.

Hi Ricky
About your situation of help columns, do you have some news?
We've a similar issue and after researching, I found some recommendations to change the ODBC and include the NO HELP DATABASE option:  DontUseHelpDatabase=Yes

We did, but it did not work yet
Thanks in advance
