The same user already logged on to DBS...

Hi,

I have taken a dump(data file) of a database using ARCMAIN.but when i try to
COPY the data from data file to a new database using ARCMAIN,it throws an error "The same user already logged on to DBS".

I don't know what i have to do to rectify this error.Anybody can help me to resolve this issue please?

Hi,

Are you using same version of ARCMAIN for both activities?

Yeah MAC. I tried to copy all the objects(with data) from data file to another DB within the same machine using ARCMAIN.

The user used for the COPY must not be logged on using any other session:

ARC0700 The same user already logged on to
DBS
Explanation: An attempt to run an Archive &
Recovery statement under the username has failed.
For Whom: End User.
Notes: An Archive & Recovery task allows user to
logon to DBS only once. That is, the same user ID
cannot be active at the same time the Archive &
Recovery utilities program invoked.
Remedy: Log off the other active sessions and retry
