Source/Version control for DDL?

Hi All,

New to this site and Teradata. I would like to know how Teradata manages the versioning of DDL scripts. Does it have a built in repository? Able to connect up to 3rd part version control products like SVN seamlessly?
If you could give me any advice on this and what a typical deployment process would look like using the Teradata tools I would be most grateful.

I think you are looking for checkin ...checkout versioning tool and repository, code deployment etc. As far as I know , there is none. SVN, CVS etc can be used for repository..deployment ......
I think you overheard of Teradata MDS. It is for lineage, analysis of warehouse components and many more   umpteen functionalities......

Yes that's what I was after thanks.
So does SVN intergrate into Teradata studio? Or is the process manual; export DDL to scripts before checking in?

I have less experience on SVN. I worked on one proposal only where it has Teradata. Since SVN is quite recent, it should integrate well with TD. This is my understanding.
