Information about Inverted list database

Hi,
I have heard that this database can do both set and row processing. Is it true? Where I can get a document on this?
Also, I feel that Teradata can also do both. Tpump has serialize option to avoid rowhash locking. Please share if you have some ideas.

Thanks and regards,
Raja

Hi Raja,
could you please clarify your question?
Inverted list = Full Text Index
Set and row processing = any DBMS can do both

Hi Dieter,
I just  to know about the features of Inverted list. I guess it is a database.
I am seeing that set processing can have more chances of lock contention than a row processing. Please confirm. If so, how does Teradata overcome this hurdle? I know they serialize in tpump.
Thanks and regards,
Raja
