In TD12.0 or later, check out the "Open API" SQL functions (documented in the Workload Management API manual).

Worth mentioning, is that TASM supports abort capability of queries exceeding an exception threshold. This includes the "Abort on Select Only" option to avoid aborting DML and DDL queries.

One of simplest ways is following. You can go to console and type ABORT SESSION *.USERNAME;

Hi RFiala - Can you provide an example with a session number as 123456 and username as RFiala ?

Syntax to execute abortsession.

REPLACE FUNCTION AbortSessions
(HostIdIn SMALLINT,
UserNameIn VARCHAR(30),
SessionNoIn INTEGER,
LogoffSessions VARCHAR(1),
UserOverride VARCHAR(1)
)

SELECT AbortSessions (1, 'abc', 0, 'Y', 'Y');
-- Logoff/Kill all sessions where the user abc is logged on.
