GUID data type equivalent in Teradata

GUID data type stores “16-byte binary values” that operate as globally unique identifiers.
It can be logically grouped into the following subgroups:
The standard textual representation is {12345678-1234-1234-1234-1234567890AB}.
Is there a Teradata equivalent for this? If no, which data type could be the closest?

You can store a GUID in character format in a VARCHAR column, or store a GUID as a binary value in a VARBYTE column.
