Ending Parameters

I am new to Teradata,  and am still trying to find my way home.  I have been looking for a way to end a parameter if I use it in a statement.  Here is the statement I am trying to write, where project and plan are parameters, but _pass1 is just text.  When I run this statement I am prompted for the ?project_pass1 parameter.  Is there a way to end a parameter?

drop table mydb.?project_pass1?plan;

I guess you are using SQL assistent - correct?

Documentation is indicating that it will not work.

Named Parameters are indicated by a "?" immediately followed by a name. The name can consist of alphanumeric characters plus the "_" symbol.
