COLUMNAR TABLE- SELECT TOP N* FROM COLUMNAR TABLE NOT GIVING OUTPUT

Hi,
I am facing one issue with the columnar table. I am unable to fetch records using TOP N* command from a columnar table with 256 columns.

SELECT TOP 10*

FROM COLUMNAR TABLE

--Returns no rows

But when I am applying filter condition, I am able to fethch records using TOP N* command,

SELECT TOP 10*

FROM COLUMNAR TABLE  where column1='123456'

--Returns 10 rows

But it is working fine with columnar table with 247 columns. I am able to fetch records either way(with and without filter)

I am working on database version Teradata 15.10.0108  15.10.01.08A.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank And Regards Pushkar Kumar

If you or someone at you site has access to Teradata support, please open an incident for this.

Was it possible to create an incident for this?

We did some testing and were unable to reproduce the issue.  If there is an incident, please share the incident #. If not, perhaps some more details like the DDL and the query would help us figure out what is going on.
