Unable to Connect to Teradata Database from Teradata Studio on iOS (Mac)

Hello Guys, I am to attempt to connect to a remote TERADATA Database from the Teradata Studio from my Mac. The error reported is showed below and this same error happened from the Linux Operating System. But if I configure a DNS in Windows I can connect to the Remote Teradata when the connection testing is executed.
Please Forum, can you help me ?? I have checked the older post regarding this issue buy any help me to solve the situation.

Can you "ping" ICW_Iberiacop1? What does your connection string look like? (Just in general, mask any sensitive info.)

Hello Fred, thank for your help. If I ping this name (this is the name that I set in the hosts file associating with a IP of the Teradata Server) and ping directly the IP, I don't have response but the IT Guys tell me that is normal. They tell me that I have to use the ODBC to connect to the server, the problem is that if I set a ODBC connection using Windows OS I can connect but using Linux or Unix I can't .... and I had check all that I think should be set.
