You specified 192.168.2.2 as your Teradata Database hostname. Is that correct? Is there a Teradata Database running on a machine with that IP address.

I'm asking because 192.168.x.x is an IP address range for private networks.

Hi Tomnolan,
I'm also facing the same issue when I tried to create a new connection profile Teradata studio express 15.
How can I check database is running in my system? and I'm using standalone computer.
Thanks,
Rajeshkumar.

Teradata Studio Express does not include the Teradata Database.

There are several free versions of the Teradata Database available for download. You must download them separately from Teradata Studio.

Go to the Downloads page of Developer Exchange, click on the version of the Teradata Database that you want to use, then follow the instructions.
