Error 8017 - The UserId, Password or Account is invalid

I'm new to Teradata and Websphere Application Server(WAS). I have installed Teradata JDBC Driver 14.00 (terajdbc4.jar
and tdgssconfig.jar) at WAS 7.0 and created datasource as mentioned in the link: http://developer.teradata.com/doc/connectivity/jdbc/ reference/current/WebSphere70.html the user logon type is LDAP and so I created custom properties with logmech = LDAP, charset = EBCDIC037_0E, user, DSName and password.

But still I'm getting this error.  Please help me out on this.

Thanks in advance.

As a starting point, you can query DBC.LogOnOff to determine the cause of the error. If you continue to have a problem, and you are a customer, then you can open an incident with Customer Support.
Regards,

I found the problem, according to this link: http://developer.teradata.com/doc/connectivity/jdbc/reference/current/jdbcug_chapter_5.html
LOGDATA property is mandatory if LOGMECH = LDAP.
I have specified logdata as per the format mentioned in this link : http://developer.teradata.com/doc/tools/ttu/install/index.jsp?topic=%2F14_00_HelpWindowsDVD%2FConnectingDBfmCmdLine.html

But still I'm getting the error:
[Error 1032] [SQLState HY000] Single Sign-On NOT supported for Mechanism TD2
Anyone please help me

Thanks in advance

The message says that you are using the TD2 authentication mechanism, which means that your LOGMECH=LDAP parameter is missing, or is not specified correctly.
As I said before, if you are a customer, then you can open an incident with Customer Support.

A user was unable to login. Even after changing the password. Then i check the table dbc.logonoff which showed it was locked. Released the user. It worked.
