Teradata Python Module
 
The Teradata Python Module is a freely available, open source, library for the Python programming language, whose aim is to make it easy to script powerful interactions with Teradata Database. It adopts the philosophy of udaSQL, providing a DevOps focused SQL Execution Engine that allows developers to focus on their SQL and procedural logic without worrying about Operational requirements such as external configuration, query banding, and logging.
 
TTU Install Documentation

The TTU Install Documentation explains how to install Teradata Tools and Utilities software from delivery media, configure the applications when required, and verify installation. Additionally, instructions for deploying software with SCCM and TAR are provided. The documentation is available as HTML for all platforms and use cases (complete installation, deployment, and installation of specific applications). Teradata Benchmark Query Driver (TdBench) provides a set of tools to help you compare the performance within a data warehouse:

  • before/after a new release of the DBMS
  • before/after changes to the PDM (indexes, compression, etc)
  • relative performance of a new database platform

The tools provide a framework for executing benchmarks driven by a Windows Server or PC and reporting on the results using DBQL. There are also tools for extracting a cohesive set of Queries and Tables from DBQL to define the benchmark.

BTEQ Reference 13.10
