We are planning to upgrade from TTU 15.00 to TTU 15.10 but before doing so , I wanted to know whether there any major bug fixes and any new features in TTU 15.10 release when compared to 15.00 release. I searched online regarding this but couldn't find anything. Can anyone help me with this?

TTU Windows Package

This Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 15.10.05 package is the full collection of Teradata client tools for Windows.

This includes SQL Assistant, load & unload utilities, database management, administration and drivers, and much more to be used to connect to your Teradata Express database instance (downloaded separately).  Installation is easy and simple using a Windows installer.  The size of the download zip file is ~500 MB.  To install, extract the zip file into a temporary folder and run the setup.exe program.

Hi All,

I create one ODBC Connection entry in ODBCINI file defined in .profile. OS is RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.9 (Tikanga)). TPT Version is

I have scoured the downloads section and am unable to find the installer for the Teradata Tools and Utilities 15.10 for OS X. I know it existed at some point, as I have bteq working on a MacBook Pro, I'm trying to migrate a bteq process to an iMac.

From Product support matrix.TTU is currently not supported for the RHEL on PowerPc platform.
Is there any Roadmap planned to support RHEL on PowerPc architecture?

Why was the default installation path for SQL Assistant change to not Teradata SQL Assistant in the path?  Why did the sample ODBC program also get moved to be located in the folder with SQL Assistant?

Where I can find Teradata Tools and Utilites 14.10?

TTU Windows Package

This Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 15.00 package is the full collection of Teradata client tools for Windows.

The TTU Install Documentation explains how to install Teradata Tools and Utilities software from delivery media, configure the applications when required, and verify installation. Additionally, instructions for deploying software with SCCM and TAR are provided.

I have a CSV file that I'm attempting to load via TPT.  I have created the CSV file in Excel.  When I try to load the file with the appropriate number of delimiters, I am getting a BUFFERMAXSIZE error.  When I add another delimiter to the end of each record, the file loads just fine.

I'm trying to automate the installation (and deinstallation for patching, and upgrades) of TTU on Windows. I have tried the below wtih the results seen:
A) Straight silent install from documentation:
setup.exe /s /f1"./setup.iss
Result: does not do work, nothing is installed

Hi All ,
I have successfully installed Teradata Express 14.0 VMWare image.  I was also successful in logging in and checking that BTEQ is available.

I've installed TTU 14.00 on CentOS 6.3 x86_64.
bteq fails on login to a server, with this error:

.logon dev/user

*** CLI error: MTDP: EM_GSSINITFAIL(235): call to gss_init failed.

*** Return code from CLI is: 235

 *** Error: Logon failed!

I'd like to know behind covers - how these 2 utilites differ. I am aware of the glaring differences : empty tables vs non , single vs multi-table , upserts, fastload locking etc.

Where can I download TTU 13.10 for Suse Linux? I don't have a DVD with appropriate content. Thanks you!

“Yum” is a package-management utility for RPM-compatible Linux operating systems that can be utilized by the Teradata Client packaging to allow an administrator to manage a repository of packages for network installation and software distribution.  “YUM” stands for “Yellowdog Updater, Modified” and is an open-source, command-line product included with RedHat Enterprise Linux, and Fedora Linux.    This document will explain how to set up a simple Yum repository with the Linux Teradata Client packages, and how to use the resulting repositories to install packages across the network.

Is it free to download or are there some license requirements?

I mean this:
