This warning was returned in BTEQ after executing the following query. Is there something missing with the syntax? Please note that the SESSION TRANSACTION was set to ANSI and SESSION SQLFLAG was set to ENTRY. Both were configured intentionally.

Hi,
Is there any way to restrict ANSI sessions using viewpoint/TASM ?
I don't want to allow ANSI sessions into system. How can I achieve this via viewpoint or TASM or any other method ?
Kindly provide your suggestions.
Thanks.

Hi guys,
I have a problem with TIME datatype and my ODBC drivers.
In ODBC driver I have DateTimeFormat=III and enabled DisableParsing.
When I try to run this query:
INSERT INTO  aidar.time_ansi
(
"ID_1","COL_1","COL_2"
)
SELECT
    last_key_1,
    (
    CASE

Hi everyone,
We're trying to connect to our teradata database through Java using TMODE=ANSI, and it's throwing the following error:

Problem: How do you add or subtract a "fractional second" to a TIMESTAMP column in Teradata?

The available documentation is not very clear, so let's look into it using examples.

Basic use of INTERVAL

Hi Fellow Teradata Developer,

I have a question on how to set Ansi mode on Teradata SQL assistant, I hope you can Shed some light on this.
When I'm working on BTEQ, on the same Database, I run the command .SET TRANSACTION MODE ANSI, and everything seems to work properly. So It's not an issue related with the Database.
